We take a family photograph every year, the kids keep growing, we keep aging, but we are evolving all together.. I made a memory book of our year letters and family pictures. I keep adding to the collections of your years passing. this make a great stories that our kids will hopefully love to have some day. Since we just moved to Virginia-beach we had to be by the ocean some how.

My sister in law texted me to let me know that she was flying from C.A to New York in 15 mn witch would take her all day . so I told Scott "hey!! why don't we go meet them for lunch?) . Since we are just 55 mn away from Virginia..

So we did ... I called my sweet friend Nicole to see if she would keep our kids for the day ( she did ,she rock's) And then we went.. took the car.. took the plain.. took the subway.. took a taxis.. and 2and half hours later we were under the Brooklyn bridge at a flies market meeting with scott sister, her husband and a couple of fiends.. we had fun touring the market and then went to eat one of the best New-York Pizza's ever at Grimaldi's. It was so great seeing our family write their in the big Apple at a snap of a finger(we don't get to se them that often).I Did not bather to take my camera but just borrowed my sons snap shot machine to snap a few images on the go..

It was time to turn around so scott & I took at walk into Brooklyn streets and wen back to the subway , the plain the car and back home with our kids.. I loved the spontaneity and the time with my husband and family .they are some great advantage to be married to a pilot for sure! Hee Hee!!..It was a treat of a day!!

SO.. I was taking a stroll in down town Norfolk V.A, and ended up crossing the pass of a cute city Witch that was hanging outside her door sweeping the front porch. She asked me" Soo!!..witch is your which for Halloween? a trick or a treat ? Do you need a spell for a correct spell? "so I told her that I was wishing for a spell of magic spell in did.. but too late.. she was off to her house hold dutys, The potion was cooking in the kitchen that was on fire and she had no time to grant me..so in a flash she was gone..and I still write like a todd..

Our time has come to move to new horizon.

After 2. 1/2 Amazing years spent in Oregon we are now called to the East of the country to Virginia .My Husband Scott Richards has been hired by the Navy reserve in Ociana Naval Air Station about 6 months ago and we hop to be reunited with him at once.

We loved being here and enjoyed every moments spent in the North west.

Never the less we are looking forward our new adventures.

My work will continue in a new place but I do travel for busyness and will return to any one wanting my cervices. Distance as very little impact with my work.

The Lombardi kids were as sweet as can be and not as Noisy as expected .. Perhaps they will be quieter rock stars ?LOL.

I mate Shannon 2 weeks after arriving to Or, that was 2.1/2 years ago now.Our kids were in the same classes and she happened to be a photographer too!! I have grown to like her immencely over the few years spent near each other (I leave write around the corner for her). Shannon is quoit a BIG DEAL to me, in many ways, she is an AMAZING photographer, quoit a Big Deal in fact!!( I have learned so much from her). She is a great mother and a very loving and giving friend. She would absolutely never admit that she is simply Amazing, but will go along me jockeying wen I say that she is a Big Deal.. Even if really she think little off herself witch make her even a BigGer deal to me.

She is the quiet kind (I usually do all the talking) with a very witty humor that snap you on the butt wen you the least expect it, cutting the wind out of your pipe and making you giggle inside.

Wen I saw the Big Deal T-shirt I thought off her and she humored me by Playing the part,even if I had to bag a little,OK.. a lot!! but it was a fun time spent together witch made it all worth it.

Thank you Shannon for being a wonderfull and loving friend to me.

The Whiteside family lives in McMinnville, about two hours away from where we live in Portland. The drive there was so pretty and peaceful, exactly like them. I got the chance to bring my family along for the day and we were treated to a wonderful evening, and a delicious dinner after our shoot. Brian Whiteside is a gifted photographer and a pilot (Yes, God blessed some of us more then others..LOL) . So , to be chosen by him to photograph his family is flattering - but also be a bit nerve wracking. Luckily, Brian and his family know my style of photography and went along with it. They were all relaxed and themselves, it was a real joy.

We leave in the Northwest of the the US, near Portland. My Husband and I discovered a an amazing Park near our home Called "Oxbow park"not so easy to fine.

Oxbow is one of the most fascinating park I have been into.

One day wile we made our entrance to start one off our multiple hike in the park ,we found ourselves steeping into a movie set actively filming part of what was going to be the movie "Twilight".

We saw smock all over the forest along with tents trailers and a lot of very quiet peoples.

Apparently this site wasn't just fascinating to us.

I have always dream of a photo-shoot in this beautiful place, so I came up with a faire tale that matched my view of the place, were I had dreamed so often wile walking the ferniest trails..

This was a really fun project, I got to play dress up in a very nice hotel in Portland ,with real life dolls. I shot for 7H strait with out even noticing the time passing.We had a blast, drinking champagne and eating cookies wile doing stuff that girls really like( .. running around in lingerie..LOL!)

I have to Thank my Amazing crew. This shoot took me all the way to Florida were I had the fun to Photograph 5 little girly girls, Vacationing in the US from Switzerland. My trip was a delight, I was loved on and my hosts treated me like a princess.. what a gorgeous,loving and energetic family.

I got the chance in between shoots to be part of their vacation activities. Lay on the beach . Collect sea shells for Kelowna. play with the girls. See the Blue Angels show and spend a fun evening out.. Did I say that I love my job?

My Camera has been in the shop for 2 week's now after breaking during my shoot in Texas.(Read Post on Jonathan & Melissa. Below in this blog page).

It has been torturesk ,Since I cant shoot my brain is coming up with all those ideas and clients are calling for appointments. But I am stock!! My precious should return to me in a week and then I will be able to EXPRESS that need of mine to EXPRESS myself..

For now I am making the most off it , By taking the time to create things that i usually never have time for like: pillows!! WE all ready have a million, my Husband think that we both the couchs for the pillows,I caind of agree.LOL!!

I am Also making jewelry and I am designing a big dinning Table as well as a new logo and busyness card for my sweet friend Emma (www.emmahopkins.com) that as asked me to come up with some thing new..So delightedly I did, and I love it! Hopefully she'll love it to?! If she doesn't ho well it will give my mind an excuse to create more...

This was definitively an eventful shoot..

I had traveled all the way to Fort-worth Texas to Photograph Jonathan and Melissa. we were shooting in a perfect stop and they were the cutes couple of them all that day . Both of them smiling 100% of the time from one ear to an other. I was thinking" I LOVE my job , how lucky I am to get to do this for a leaving) All was very fairy tale like ..T'ill the mirror of my camera fell off and we had to run to the nearest store in the middle of our shoot. I then had to Glue the mirror into place hopping it would work and it did.

My 2 lovely birds were more thank great about the event and we resumed our shoot.

So then we went back to their VERY nice car barrows form Jonathan Mother, and I realise then that in my previous panic in trying to glue my mirror . I had left the glue tube on the seat next to me..

Well the tube was definitively securely fasten just were I had left it. Well incurred into the seat to my total horror. I some what managed to retrieve it leaving a nice glue mark on the cream leather seat.. completely mortified i was thinking "what more could go wrong?" in complete despair!! It is went I returned home that I finally hit that 3 bad luck strike and managed to delete all my images out off my memory card wile loading them into my computer..HAAAAAAAAAA!!!! please some body hold me down wile I am lousing my mind...It was wen I learned all about lost memories retrieving program and that my friend Shannon came and saved me from the mental dorm I had put myself into..

I testify there is a GOD he definitively showed to my door those times and all ended the way it had started like a fairy tale. PPPUUUHHHEEEEHHH!!!.

Going to San Diego CA, I mate with my long time friends Nicol and her son Cameron . Nicol is an amazing person, full of energy and beautiful inside and out. Hannah was due for her Senior portraits to be done, I came up with the idea to go to the fare grounds, some how it seemed fitting her personality very well since she had spent the previous summer working at a fair ground in San Diego CA.It made sens for her not to be by herself so we asked her sisters to join..it was very fun and i had a total ball shooting wile catching rides.. some of them made me feeling very sick but at the end I loved the result.

I took Barbie and a old couch to a Garage,with Autumn as my assistant. At one point Barbie was so cold that she turned all blue and I had to make her run loops so that she could regain some Natural colors..Definitively out of my comfort zone , but she is a beautiful girl and the result was worth it..No she did not end up with pneumonia, but she did gave me a scare..

Leah ( I will tel you all about her very soon) is a wonderful friend and Photographer , and embarked me into my first dual Photo shoot. we both came up with ideas took our kids and my favorite assistant Autumn,( that I used and abused until she could no longer stand..Sorry Autumn and yes you are the best)...and went for it,for at least 4 good hours..we had a wonderful ..heuuu .. Photo fix..and it felt Fabulous .Out of every addictions that peoples can have, I think this one is not life threatening..thank you GOD. our first shoot was called back to school..the hats reflect kids personality in classes. You have the smart, one the clown one, the nerdy one, the boss one, the trouble maker one, and so on...

August came and it was time for my family and I ,to go on Vacation , since Scott can fly us free we decided to go see my sweet friend Nathalie Northon, In Hawaii on Oahu on the the Northshoar of the island.

Nathalie and Richie Have 3 gorgeous Sons and want many many more children's , they are among the most relax , lay back and beautifull Hearted people I know. I would go see them once a moth if I had the freedom to do so..but I am not sure they would want to see me that much..LOL She and her family hosted us like kings we had the time of our lives Experiencing the island on the local side.. one more hight light into the year was my trip to Texas. It was my marrathon shoot chalange. 2 shoots a day during 4 days, I stayed with My friend kelly Sullen and her lovely family that I knew from the behing in the U.S Navy . In exchange for a shoot and an organisation in her part to find me clients she hosted me like an princess. It was an answom experience, I got the chance to go visit down town Stock Yard Fort Worht with kelly and we had a great time..

I had the chance to photograph the all Zolidis family on they building rooftop in Manhattan near central park, it was so trilling for me, we also wen to Soho to complete our fabulous day . also Igot the chance to stay one more day to explore the city from Central park to ground Zero passing buy the fun shopping streets of Soho..I LOVE New York Please any one hire me back!!

This was for me THE high light of the year , I was flowed in by the Zolidis family to New York , to take their family Portraits during 4 days...I was blown away buy they hospitality , they are among the nicest peoples I know. they made sure that my experience with them would be unforgettable and it was..I had never been to the big Apple and I was beyond exited..We decided to shoot There baby girl first. Amelia is 3 year old and absolutely to die for...

Near our home there was an old Air port that I had been eyeing for a wile for a future concept shoot. one day i drove by again and it was almost all tared down "gone" but 2 building left, I was heart broken .I drove back home took my son and came back for a last minute concept shoot ..It turned out so cute..the next day the air port was gone..

KIM and Jason Berry are the cutest couple on hearth instead of a wedding ceremony they shoused a photo-session with me, what an honor I must say!, they had driven 2h to come for they shoot ..we Photographer all day long first at a beautifull big OLD barn that i founded previously then in down town Portland ..they definitively where the stars of my day.

I found this great Portrait of Tahlan wen he was 18 month,a summer before last.We were in france, in the town of Ville-franche-sur-mer where my Father as chosen to retire..Tahlan was so happy that day ..What a face! Nothing in his little heart was a problem he was exalting 100% pure joy!! Children's are just the best gift from GOD.

My first clients were a Family of 7 the Easley's.

I was working Just 2 weeks after we arrived.They were sent to me through My sweet friend Shannon, how I will describe later.

Little did I knew they were going to become some of my dearest friends here, they are all about kids and take great care of mine all true the year( Rhonda the mother, has a Day care service and Tahlan love being their)

Let me share this past year with you ..

We (my family and I) just move to Portland Oregon from the high desert of CA , in Sept o7. MY Husband Scott Richards had left the Navy after 13 years of service. He was flying F 18 hornet out of air craft carrier.We have been through 2 war with him Gone and decided it was time for our family to have a husband and a Father home. so we relocated .

After many search SCOTT was hired by Delta air line as a Civilian Pilot, and we leave now 10 minutes from the air port in Vancouver WA just outside Portland 20 MN away.

Finally "WOLFY"( military call sign) as been flying so much that I see him even less then before, but we both know it's temporary and the first year into a new job is always the hardest..

We have 3 children's..Shiloh 8 about to be 9, Kelowna 7, and Tahlan 2.

You will see them a lot in my work as they are naturally my favorites subject.

So coming here I had to re start a all New base of clientele . I took it easy since I have a family to take care of mostly on my won, but still devote a lot of my time on my Passion.

I have had a fare amount of clients and here are some of the high light of this year..Enjoy M
